Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger ft. Christina Aguilera

Hi Guys! Friday is Clip Day!

I have selected this one to wish you all a very good weekend and maybe, you will move like Jagger...fantastic this idea Maroon Five had. It is a little not for children clip, but for adults! Everyone wants to be sexy on Friday, right? I dedicate it to Jo and Gui,the sexiest couple who moves like Jagger!

Lyrics:

Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera)

Oh

Oh

Just shoot for the stars if it feels right

Then aim for my heart if you feel like

Take me away and make it okay

I swear I'll behave

You wanted control, so we waited

I put on a show, now I make it

You say I'm a kid, my ego is big

I don't give a shit

And it goes like this

Take me by the tongue and I'll know you

Kiss me 'til you're drunk and I'll show you

All the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I don't need to try to control you

Look into my eyes and I'll own you

With them moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

Maybe it's hard when you feel like you're broken and scarred

Nothing feels right

But when you're with me, I'll make you believe

That I've got the key

So get in the car, we can ride it

Wherever you want, get inside it

And you wanna steer, but I'm shifting gears

I'll take it from here

And it goes like this

Take me by the tongue and I'll know you

Kiss me 'til you're drunk and I'll show you

All the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I don't need to try to control you

Look into my eyes and I'll own you

With them moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

(Christina Aguilera)

You wanna know how to make me smile

Take control, own me just for the night

And if I share my secret

You're gonna have to keep it

Nobody else can see this

So watch and learn, I won't show you twice

Head to toe, ooh baby rub me right

If I share my secret, you're gonna have to keep it

Nobody else can see this

And it goes like this

Take me by the tongue and I'll know you (take me by the tongue)

Kiss me 'til you're drunk and I'll show you

All the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I don't need to try to control you

Look into my eyes and I'll own you

With them moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

I've got the moves like Jagger

Clip: Summer nights - Grease

Hey Guys! How are you doing? Ready for the weekend?

So, here is the clip of the day: Summer nights - Grease.

I dedicate it to my baby that always ask us to play "Tellimore"...he really loved the song. We saw the film to prepare his 50's themed party...and it was great to visit that decade, seriously.

Tell me? Are you fan of this decade? Have you already seen that film?

Share your ideas, films, songs...I really want to know about it, more and more...the party was great, my heart is happy, it was a great time!

So, enjoy the video, maybe you will rent the movie and have fun this weekend!

The lyric of Summer nights:

Summer Nights

Grease

Summer loving had me a blast

Summer loving happened so fast

I met a girl crazy for me

Met a boy cute as can be

Summer days drifting away, to oh oh the summer nights

Well-a well-a well-a huh
Tell me more, tell me more
Did you get very far?

Tell me more, tell me more
Like does he have a car?

She swam by me, she got a cramp

He ran by me, got my suit damp

I saved her life, she nearly drowned

He showed off, splashing around

Summer sun, something's begun, but oh oh the summer nights

Tell me more, tell me more
Was it love at first sight?

Tell me more, tell me more
Did she put up a fight?

Took her bowling in the arcade

We went strolling, drank lemonade

We made out under the dock

We stayed out 'till ten o'clock

Summer fling, don't mean a thing, but oh oh the summer nights

Tell me more, tell me more
But you don't have to bragg

Tell me more, tell me more
Cause he sounds like a drag

He got friendly, holding my hand

She got friendly down in the sand

He was sweet just turned eighteen

Well she was good you know what I mean

Summer heat, boy and girl meet, but oh oh the summer nights

Tell me more, tell me more
How much dough did he spend?

Tell me more, tell me more
Could she get me a friend?

It turned colder - that's where it ends

So I told her we'd still be friends

Then we made our true love vow

Wonder what she's doing now

Summer dreams ripped at the seams, but oh those summer nights

Tell me more, tell me more

P.S. I Love You Soundtrack - Galway Girl

Hey guys, I am very happy!
Guess what! My computer works now! Thanks to Wil and Digo!!! And the blog will be easier updated.
Also, it is my baby 2 years birthday this weekend...I am smiling when writing it!

So, with this terrific mood, I dedicate this clip for you that like visiting Three Little Birds and want to improve your English!

As on Saturday, March 17th, it is celebrate Saint Patrick´s day. The Irish Saint, by the way the most famous saint of the world...I took this song from the film P.S. I love you. It is a story of an Irish man that dies, but leaves 10 special messages to his very young wife...she visitis Ireland and so...to get into the green mood, guys! Whatch this scene and have fun with Gerard Butler (cute) playing and singing this typical cowboy song to an american girl he just met...in a typical Irish pub!

Suggestion:

1- Watch the clip
2- Play the clip again, but this time read the lyric while listen to it. Repeat it for the third time, but sing together!

The Galway girl

Well, I took a stroll on the old long walk
Of a day -I-ay-I-ay
I met a little girl and we stopped to talk
Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue
And I knew right then I'd be takin' a whirl
'Round the Salthill Prom with a Galway girl

We were halfway there when the rain came down
Of a day -I-ay-I-ay
And she asked me up to her flat downtown
Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue
So I took her hand and I gave her a twirl
And I lost my heart to a Galway girl

When I woke up I was all alone
With a broken heart and a ticket home
And I ask you now, tell me what would you do
If her hair was black and her eyes were blue
I've traveled around I've been all over this world
Boys I ain't never seen nothin' like a Galway girl

I took this lyric from HERE.

Adele - Someone Like You

Friday is good for watching a clip...you know what? Music is good to be into "English mood"...you learn vocabulary, improve speaking and have fun!!!

Muita gente aqui no Brasil ama essa música tema de Fina Estampa...quer parar e conhecer a letra?

Someone Like You
Adele
I heard that you're settled down
That you found a girl and you're married now
I heard that your dreams came true
Guess she gave you things, I didn't give to you

Old friend
Why are you so shy
It ain't like you to hold back
Or hide from the light

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me, it isn't over

Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah

You'd know how the time flies
Only yesterday was the time of our lives
We were born and raised in a summery haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me, it isn't over yet

Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah

Nothing compares, no worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes they're memories made
Who would have known how bitter-sweet this would taste

Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
Don't forget me, I beg, I remembered you said
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead

Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
Don't forget me, I beg, I remembered you said
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah, yeah

Quiz!

Do you know when you should use ever and never? Try this Quiz!

e.g or i.e

Muita gente tem dúvida ao ler as abreviações: e.g or i.e, so, take a look at it:

"When you mean “for example,” use e.g. It is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase exempli gratia. When you mean “that is,” use “i.e.” It is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase id est. Either can be used to clarify a preceding statement, the first by example, the second by restating the idea more clearly or expanding upon it. Because these uses are so similar, the two abbreviations are easily confused. If you just stick with good old English “for example” and “that is” you won’t give anyone a chance to sneer at you. If you insist on using the abbreviation, perhaps “example given” will remind you to use “e.g.,” while “in effect” suggests “i.e.” "
